Golden milk is a traditional Ayurvedic health drink. The key ingredient in golden milk is turmeric, which has a staggering range of health benefits.

serves 2
1.5 cups almond milk
1.5 teaspoons ground turmeric
pinch ground black pepper
0.5 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons honey

Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan over the stove. Warm over a medium heat until the milk is warmed through (about 5 minutes). Stir regularly. Let the mixture come to a gentle simmer but try not to let it boil.
