Hibiscus ginger honey detox tea
4 cups of water
4 heaping Tbsp dried hibiscus flowers or 4 bags of hibiscus tea
Thumb-sized knob of fresh ginger, peeled and sliced into quarter-inch slices
Juice from 1 lemon
¼ cup organic honey
Sparkling mineral water
Bring water to a boil, then allow to cool slightly for two minutes. steep the hibiscus flowers and slices of fresh ginger in the hot water for 5-10 minutes. Strain and allow to cool completely. juice the lemon and stir in the honey until dissolved. Add the lemon juice to the tea and chill until cold, at least half an hour. , take a glass and pour the hibiscus honey tea three fourths of the way up and top with sparkling mineral water or just drink just the tea Garnish with a lemon slice. Or if you don’t like cold , just drink the warm tea with slice of lemon !!
