Keeping the pujo series another my favorite dish , as you all know we bengali add fish or seafood to most of everything , and honestly it elevate the taste in different label

Cabbage with shrimp

10 medium size shrimp
1 small size Cabbage
* 1 Potato Large
* ¼ tsp Hing or Asafoetida
* ½ tsp Cumin Seeds
* 1 Bay Leaf
* 4 tbsp Mustard Oil
* 1½ tbsp Grated Ginger
* 1½ tsp Cumin Powder
* ½ tsp Garam Masala Powder
* 1 tsp Sugar
* 2 Green Chilies
* 2 medium tomatoes chopped
* 1 tbsp Ghee or Clarified Butter
* ½ tsp Turmeric Powder
* 1 tsp Kashmiri Mirch Powder or Red Chilli Powder
* 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
* Salt to Taste

1. Soak the Cumin Powder in little water to make a runny paste. Keep it aside
2. Add some turmeric and salt in the shrimp and fry in oil just for 2 min and set aside 

3. Finely slice the cabbage. Cut the potato in small cubes.

4. Heat mustard oil in a pan and add the bay leaf, hing and cumin seeds. 

5. Add the potato and fry it on medium heat. Add turmeric powder and salt. Cover and cook till its halfway cooked 

6. Add grated ginger, green chilies and soaked cumin powder and chopped tomatoes . Mix well

7. Now, add the sliced cabbage in steps and mix everything together. Fry it on low-medium heat while stirring ocassionaly. 

8. When you see that it has reduced by more than half of its original volume, add sugar, salt (as required) and garam masala powder and the shrimp 

9. You will know it’s done when there would be a slight sight of oil sizzling at the side

10 add the ghee and cinnamon powder and serve

  1. Bah bah ! Tumi toh ekdom fatiye dicco👌Badha Kopi shrimp diye, prothom shunechi but khete bhalo hobe oita bhujtei parchi. Similarly Bottle gourd chingri diye khai amra, onekta similar duto dish😊Pujo r anondo ta kokhono ignore kora jai na, jekhanei thaki na keno😊Saradiya r onek priti o subeccha roilo🙏
