Paratha and lamb chops , I posted the lamb chops couple of weeks earlier here is the recipe for paratha … Parathas (pan-fried Indian flatbread) are truly a treat. Crispy and flaky, they go well with most Indian dishes, whether a gravied curry or a dry stir-fry. Don’t be deterred by the number of steps in this tutorial—although the process may look time-consuming, parathas are actually quick to make. With parathas, the flakier and more layered they are, the better. How crisp you make them, however, is up to your taste.

2 cups Wheat flour
½ cup oil
1 cup of water (You can add more)
1 Roller (to flatten the flour)
Frying Pan

In a bowl take whole wheat flour ,add 2-3 tsp of oil and ½ cup of water.
Mix and knead into a smooth soft dough.
Add more water if required while kneading.
Knead well to make the dough soft.
Wrap it in a moist cloth and set aside for 30 minutes.
Divide the dough to 8 parts.
Take a part of the dough and make a round ball with 1 tsp of oil inside the flour.
Flour the rolling area.
Put the round ball on the roller and roll it until it became flatten and keep the size round like a plate.(size up to you).
Keep rolling and make a circle around 1/8 inches .It should be little bit thick not very thin.
Take a pan and pour 1 tsp of oil and make it hot now put the flattened paratha in the pan.
Turn the side of the paratha and put 2-3 tsp of oil and cook it on medium low flame.
Change the side frequently and cook till the color turns to golden brown.
Both sides should be cooked properly when you see the color is golden brown and looks crispy.
Remove from the pan and put on tissue towel paper to drain the oil.
